3M CBM Model Report Files

 

The 3M CBM Model Final Report consists of two report volumes. 

Volume I contains the report and analysis.  Volume II contains the Users Guide for the 3M CBM Simulation Model.  A complete set of Figures is included in a PowerPoint (.ppt) file.

 

3M CBM Simulator Files

 

The 3M CBM Model covers the Colorado portion of the San Juan Basin.  It consists of a reservoir simulation grid with dimensions of 369 by 137 using one-sixth of a mile grid blocks.  Given the size of this area, it was split into 5 areas (Referred to as Areas A through E) for history matching of production and simulating forecasts both with and without infill wells.  Prior to history matching, an initialization run of the entire simulation areas was conducted to establish recharge/discharge rates in the Fruitland aquifer system, as well as initial water saturation and pressure in the simulation grid.

 

All simulation run zip files contain the simulation input files and the executable file for the simulator.  Please refer to the Users Guide for instruction on setting up the simulation runs on your PC and how to use the simulator.  To run the model, you will also need to download the Simulation support files (dlls) and copy them to the same directory as the executables.

               

Initialization: Pre-production simulation run of the entire 369 x 137 grid
